MONEY
This is a political cartoon most likely from four years ago when Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama were running against each other. I can infer this because as of now Obama and Clinton are on the same team. But four years ago during the election they were duking it out for the number one spot for the democratic seat. In the cartoon it illustrates Obama's face plastered on a 25million dollar bill and on the bill at the top it says "Campaign Moolah". As usual in cartoons Obama is in a suit with his ears greatly exaggerated. Then you see Hilary at the bottom of the cartoon with a grimace on her face and she says "No! I dont think it makes you look presidential!". I guess she was saying that no matter how much money you raise it still does not cover up the fact that you have no presidential or leadership experience. I think the cartoon was dumb , whoever the artist is I believe they could have done a better cheap shot then this.
I got a Reason!
This political cartoon is all about the candidates pointing fingers at each other and blaming each other. It allcenters around the primary elections and who is going to be the front runner. So the cartoon is saying why each candidate wont drop out of the election and then they point the finger to the candidate trailing them and the candidates say why their fellow republican should just drop out. Romeny says "Im not going to quit, Im the frontrunner!" Then Santorum says "Well i just beat you in three states ! If anyone should quit it should be Gingrich!". Next, Gingrich puts his two cents in and says "Me? I won South Carolina ! This bozo hasn't won any!". Finally, Paul says "So what , at least my supports actually like me!" This shows that no one is giving up and most likely these four candidates will be slugging it out to the end. But in the cartoon i think it just shows that Paul knows he wont win he is just going along for the ride. It also shows that Romney is too arrogent with his position as front runner. I chose this cartoon because we are talking about the election and the primary's will be approaching soon.
SHots
This cartoon is based around the Florida Primary. This picture shows Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich with swords, arrows and axes in their bodies. They also have signs promoting themselves in thier hand while they are lying dead. In the cartoon they have a thought bubble that says "Its a bare-knuckle brawl in the Sunshine state." I believe the author of this cartoon was trying to stress the back and fourth shots that they threw at each other for this primary. This cartoon shows great blood shed and how far they were both willing to go to win Florida as its own. I believe that the positioning of their body as well as the number of arrows and swords in the body has some sort of significance. First off i believe that the positioning of the body is significant and clear. Gingrich is on the bottom which means that he was dead first also meaning that he was pushed out of the race first and Mitt Romney beat him thats why Romney is on top of his body. Also the number of swords in Mitt Romney's body is out number the amount in Gingrich's. I believe that means that Gingrich said a lot of things to hurt Romney's campaign and even hurt his campaign. Gingrich has less punctures because Romney was not trying to hurt Gingrich's but when Gingrich started hurting Romney's campaign, he said bad things back. I chose this cartoon because we are talking about primary's and thats whats going on in the Republican campaign now.
Obama
This cartoon is making a joke of President Obama. The cartoon is of a man praising the ground Obama walks on. But in the cartoon Obama is supposed to be the person who came up with a miracle hair tonic. Obama is patting the man on his head who uses his product, but the ironic thing in the cartoon is that the customer has no hair. The customer is thanking Obama for helping him but in all actuality the customer is just as bald as he was before he started using this product. Obama pats him on the head and says "Just think how much more hair you would have lost without the tonic. I believe the artist of this cartoon is saying that President Obama has a few people in America dumb founded and they believe everything he says. I dont agree with the artists views but I do believe they did a great job portraying their personal views in the cartoon.

ID?!?!?!?!?
This cartoon shows a comic strip of a man making a scene, because the voting poll asked for his ID. The first 4 slides show him giving his ID with no problem, but when the poll says, "I need to see an ID," h says, " What?!?! You're making this too hard!" The artist is pointing out the fact that people are making a big deal about the Voter ID Law, but in reality it is the same law as banks, movie theaters, bars, and airports. This relates to our class discussions about the Voter ID Bill.
